Terms of Service

• KOIN is a free entertainment game using play-money balances with no monetary value.
• You cannot deposit, purchase, win, or withdraw real money. Balances, winnings, and rankings cannot be exchanged for cash, prizes, or anything of value.
• KOIN is not a gambling service, sportsbook, or betting exchange, and is not licensed as one. It simulates wagering for fun and competition only.

• You must be 18 or older to use KOIN.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to farm stipends or manipulate the leaderboard is not allowed.
• You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.
• Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping or botting, no attempts to bypass betting locks or rate limits, no interference with settlement, and no offensive or impersonating usernames.

• How wagers, odds, payouts, and refunds work is described on the How it works page, which forms part of these terms.
• Wagers settle on the official result as called on fight night. If a result is later overturned, settled wagers are not re-paid. The day-of result is final.
• We may correct balances or void wagers affected by a bug, a bad data feed, or abuse.
• Game configuration (starting balances, stipends, multipliers) can change as the game is tuned.

• Event schedules, fighter information, results, and odds come from publicly available third-party sources, including ESPN and Kalshi. That data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect, and we make no guarantee of its accuracy.
• KOIN is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with ESPN, Kalshi, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), any other promotion, athletic commission, or any athlete.
• All trademarks, fighter names, and promotion names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify real events and people.

• KOIN is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, interrupted, or discontinued at any time, and data may be lost.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of KOIN. Since the service is free and no real money is involved, no refund or compensation is owed for lost balances, missed wagers, or downtime.

• We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, and you can stop using KOIN or request deletion at any time.
• We may update these terms; the date at the top will change, and continuing to use KOIN means you accept the update.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
